Diagnostic class

A diagnostic, in terms of medicine, helps to identify a desease. When talking about teaching a diagnostic helps to identify the students´ knowledge. It helps us as English teachers to know how students are with the language. This time, our purpose was to see how much students knew about personal pronouns, numbers, the alphabet, some verbs like jump, run etc. 
In order to do so, different activities were prepared. 


This class was great, because by making some activities or games we could diagnosed the students to see what they knew or not. At the begining,  when the first group passed, I was wandering how I would know or distinguish what students knew. Then, I could distinguish it, it was amazing! We did not need a paper exam to diagnose our students. By using appropriate activities they can have fun and learn and we, the teachers can diagnose them without them noticing it.

In this class I learned to diagnose my students in a very different way, not the way people is used to (paper tests) but a different and more effective one.
