Welcome...!!!

My name is Deyanira Castro, I am 22 years old. First of all i describe myself as a shy but at the same time talkative; once I have something to talk about I can talk a lot. I consider I am a reliable friend who people can trust. Some of the things I like to do on my free time are reading, cooking, going out with my family and friends, I love drawing, taking pictures, etc. Here I show some of the things I like to do, evidence of my favorite drawings (they do not look god because of the changes in other to put them together) and some pictures that I like very much.

I am studying "Licenciatura en Idiomas con Especializacion para la Enseñanza del Idioma Inglés" at Universidad Don Bosco. In other words, I will be an English teacher. I decided to take this career because of two things: one, I like English and second I like to teach and share what I know with others. So this career was what I needed, the two things in one. By being a techer I will be able to make the difference in the classrooms, I desire to teach students how i was taught in highschool, how I´m being taught at university and of course apply new methods according to their needs, help them encounter the language, teach values in ways they do not notice but feel it.

Through this time I have been studying, improving my english and improving as a person, I have learnt important things that are forming my knowledge to be apply in classrooms. For example, I learnt in a briefly way how to plan a lesson, teaching methods, to be aware of students needs, see if I am using the better strategy for them or if I should change. Besides, I as teacher have to be concius and sensitive about some facts that may affect the teaching-learning proccess. 

Finally, I will share with you my expectations for this course, honestly i am really excited about this course because I feel I will learn many new things, remember some others and increase my knowledge about teaching children. I consider it would be a fascinating experience. since the first day of this course´s classes I started learning, my brain started saving and linking informatio. I do not doubt It would be a successful semester and we will achieve the objectives of the course.
